All of the above are real examples of feedback that I've received on my resume over the years - it's also similar to comments I have left for resumes I've reviewed. Providing clear and actionable feedback is time-consuming and seems infeasible since resumes are inherently dense and overwhelming documents.
In addition, small details are often overlooked in favor of high-level feedback and advice. I once went through two full job searches before realizing thatTypeScript was incorrectly written asTypescript on my resume. It was reviewed many times during that time period, including many revisions by myself.
Our platform proposes splitting up the resume into separate sections to make the content smaller and more digestable for the reviewer. We expect that this will in turn lead to more in-depth and higher quality feedback for the recipient.
We hope you'll join us in building this community to improve all of our resumes.
